This article analyze about the importance of Indian education system, history, structure and drawbacks  of  Indian educational system and changes   to be  made in educational  system under the title Hell or Heaven in learning – Education system in INDIA in Hash Info #education #india #educationinindia #learning #ancienteducation #hash_info

India is one of the countries with rich traditional values and ethics, it is evident from Indian educational setting to dressing pattern, there is always a representation of age old tradition and custom till today (i.e.) ancient to advance. In the olden days there are no schools and colleges in India but there prevailed a well-structured ancient educational system called Gurukula system. The students from higher community went to the teacher’s home and learned from the teacher. Especially the sons of the Kings, Ministers learned many war tactics like how to handle sword, bow and arrow etc, apart from the subject. Later on people from different community started learning.

In the year of 1757, India was under the control of British, at that time according to charter Act of 1813 the government sanctioned sum of 1 lakh as a first step towards education. So the educational system of India advanced a little more than the ancient days. The British government constructed schools in developed areas, but the fees is affordable only for the economically settled families. Hence the middle and the low class people continued the ancient system of education.

In the ancient days people used palm leaves and needles to write, after that they used slates and chalks to write, then they used note, paper, pen, pencil etc., but now people are using mobiles, tablets, laptops, and advance technologies. This itself shows the advancement of learning in India. In the  olden days  students need not to carry books to school, because they learned alphabets by writing in the sand and gained subject knowledge from mother nature. But now, the good old days are gone. There is no difference between donkey and a school student. Because  Donkeys carry heavy goods and it was meant for that .Likewise students use to carry heavy bags filled with neatly packed books .Scientifically it is said that it will damage the spine of  a child. Students carrying notes and books like a Donkey carrying goods. In ancient time people learned education with love and thirst for knowledge but now a days education is commercialized.

In the ancient time the subject matter was about Gods, discipline, prayer, meditation, handling swords, bow and arrow etc. After that people started learning about science, history, astronomy and technology etc. Now a day’s school students are learning the advance technologies like Robotics, Nano-science at the very early age. In India there is restrictions in education. Education to all is not  their goal .Women education and education to lower class people was highly restricted.   On the contrary, 20% of poems in Indian literature was written by women in different centuries. There is world know poets like Aviary, Aandal etc. Women also well versed in handling sword, bow and arrow etc. After independence Indian government formed committees like Kothari, Muthaliar to set educational goals for every five years. With the help  of this commissions India sets a goal called “Education for all”. Some states stared giving free education for under privileged students, midday meals and uniform system to sustain unity in the classroom despite the class divisions. But to attain this rights many of the great Indian revolutionaries and visionaries struggled behind the curtains of cast For, example Dr. B R Ambedkar, Poet Bharathi, Poet Bharathidasan, E V Ramasamy Periyar, Tamil Nadu Golden Chief Minister K Kamaraj and many more.

Now a days in India every people giving importance for education, they believe that education eradicate ignorance and there is life in education.Government of India & State Governments are introducing new schemes every five year to improve education and its quality. In schools, colleges and Institutions Indian government has implemented latest technology. Hence  education and its quality has attained a certain level of improvement compared to the olden days.

Before completing the article I would suggest that, everything in this world has both sides like a coin, (i.e.) good side and bad side, likewise Indian education system also has both good and bad phases that we discussed above. But in India 81% (approx.) students felt that “Indian Education is Hell” and remaining felt that “Indian Education is Heaven”. Same time 93% (approx.) Parents felt that “Indian Education is Heaven” and remaining felt “Indian Education is Hell”.  In common “97% Indian Education is Heaven and only 3% is Hell”. Because there is an old saying “Bitter guard taste is bitter, but the goodness of it sweet”. Learn everything from your soul, don’t rote learn, study with involvement, love, enthusiasm, happiness etc. Think better do better because you’re learning it.

Request of us:

Request is not for India; it is for all nation. Learn with an involvement, attachment, enthusiasm, love and faith etc. It is the duty of the Parents to give proper give educations to the kids, but don’t force that vigorously because it will result in medical complication in the brain cell of the student due to forced learning.
